The Stand!

Formed in the mid-90s as Racecar, The Stand! first made their mark on the Midwest ska and punk scene with their 2000 album Point of View, released on Chicago's Jump Up Records. Along the way, the band built a strong live reputation across high-profile venues like Chicago's Metro and House of Blues, sharing stages with scene heavyweights and national touring acts including The Slackers, Mustard Plug, Deals Gone Bad, Hot Stove Jimmy, Let's Go Bowling, and The Wailing Souls.

The Stand! returns with The Current Conjecture, a new full-length, self-released LP that captures their sharpest energy to date. Building on their foundational garage-punk and ska roots, the new record weaves in hook-laden power pop melodies and raw rock 'n' roll firepower. Powered by driving guitar hooks and a relentless rhythm section, The Stand! delivers an authoritative live show honed over years of performing across Chicago and Northwest Indiana.
